Hi Juan; I have had bikes with flatter bars, and they do give more control. But I have just the opposite problem from you, I have to sit fairly straight to keep my back from aching, so the goat-horn bars on the Suzuki fit me well. My problem is numbuttitis on long rides. Oh well, can't have it both ways, I guess. One thing about bikes with flat bars, they have the foot pegs back further than the Savage, that's where you get the best control, with your feet under you instead of stretched out in front. It all depends on how wild you want to ride. I just poke along out in the countryside. Frank M
